Heading to Seattle this morning with my parents and some out-of-town relatives. It’ll be Fern’s first time and I’m super excited to take her, although it’s a bummer that Craig can’t come with us. Work is a bummer like that (*sigh*). We’re only going for today and tomorrow though, so it’ll be a short trip and we’ll definitely go back as the three of us to check it out longer one day.

I think she’s going to enjoy seeing the fish fly at Pike’s Place. I’m a little bummed it’ll be raining, but then again, I do live in the Pacific Northwest, so it’s not exactly a surprise. Just fall coming right on time I guess. I’ll take the rain any day if it means I get comfy cozy fall clothes! In case you forgot, I am SO not a fan of summer attire…but that’s another story.
Anyway…just wanted to pop in and wish you a lovely weekend even though it’s still just Thursday!
