Today marks the six year anniversary of the day Craig and I became husband and wife.
It was the happiest day of my life, because it was truly the day that our family began.
We’ve had good times and bad times and times where you just kind of get through. But, this year has been a truly great one. Becoming more confident in who we are individually and learning how to be parents together has been really special. I will always treasure these early years of parenting with my best friend. God has truly blessed me with the most perfect man for me. We are both far from perfect, but we are definitely perfect for each other.
And every year I like to re-watch our wedding video montage. It’s a good reminder of how blissfully in love we were and I will always go back to it, because I know there will be hard times when one of both of us doesn’t feel so in love anymore and when we wonder why we’re even married at all. In those times I will look back and remember: this is why. We love each other no matter what and even if we get far from our starting point, it will never be so far that we can’t make it back to each other.
