What Fern Wore: Valentine’s Day Edition

Our Valentine’s Day was pretty low key, but obviously I had to take the opportunity to dress Fern up in Valentine’s Day frills and make us pink, heart-shaped pancakes.

I realize now that the pancake looks like a heart-shaped steak, but alas it is not. I’m sure my husband would super love that though. I made the pancakes pink and then I made a strawberry puree for the top…I suppose it is a little odd looking. They were delicious though and Fern would never complain about anything that was a pink carb. Anything green and vegetable-y? Well, that’s a completely different story.

After breakfast we switched out of these awesome crochet high-top sneakers I got at Target the other day. They’re super cute, but they’re off-white and didn’t really work with the brighter white of the rest of the ensemble. Here’s an up-close photo of them though. I’m pretty in love with them.

What Fern Wore: Valentine's Day Edition

After breakfast we made Daddy a little Valentine and switched into some sparkly red Dorothy shoes. Always a win on Valentine’s Day. The photos weren’t very clear, but I was feeling too lazy to get out the real camera and toddlers move so freaking fast! I love my little speedy Valentine.
