Her Little Darlings

If you’re new’ish around here you may not know that on occasion, I moonlight as a wardrobe (and sometimes prop) stylist. I don’t do it very often anymore now that I have kids since shoots are long and unpredictable, which doesn’t exactly mesh with my current season of life. If I do take on styling gigs these days it’s for projects where I know I will be working with people/products I really enjoy.

A few months back, I had the opportunity to work on a styled shoot with my super talented friend Austie Eckley – maker of lovely bridal pretties – and it was so fantastic. Austie’s headpieces, veils and jewelry are all exquisite (along with her sweet items for little girls!), but even more than that I love Austie’s beautiful heart. She is so filled with joy that it is overflowing and completely contagious – plus she’s so much fun! But, I digress…

After much waiting, I am finally able to share the photos from the shoot with you all! The theme was “Her Little Darlings” all about a bride and her little flower girls. I styled the little girls and they were so adorable, I could barely stand it! Hope you enjoy!

There was a suuuper cute video of the shoot – documented by the lovely Ashlee Murr – that I wasn’t able to upload on my blog, because the file size was too big (#lame). BUT…I was able to upload it to my Facebook page, so you should totally go check it out. It’s a fun peek behind the scenes of what a shoot is like and you can see me zhushing/jooshing up (urban dictionary left me unclear on the spelling, though I supposed I could’ve just said primping) tiny adorable girls therein, in the event that such things interest you.
