My title means: “Lederhosen makes me giggle” in German….or at least that’s what freetranslation.com says. Hopefully no one who speaks German and is reading this blog will tell me I’ve actually said something obscene.
Anyway, that guy at the top is playing the Alp Horn and wearing lederhosen. While lederhosen in general does make me giggle, this guy is legit. He blew the horn every morning at the hotel where we stayed this weekend. At breakfast he would get up on the ledge of the (icy!) balcony and blow this horn. He had to be in his 70’s at least. That’s some serious dedication. Plus….lederhosen in 17 degree weather isn’t for the faint of heart. Extra legit points.
So, we stayed at this lovely little place called The Enzian Inn. It was basically Christmas incarnate. Like…so Christmasy they sing Christmas carols each night in the lobby complete with hot cider. This is the two story tree in the front lobby.
haha lauren you guys are so cute! this town looks awesome. it’s like all the christmas towns in the movies 🙂 i would have gone to the fudge shop first too:) that was a sweet gift from your parents!
i love your disposable swimsuits! haha, before i saw they were disposable i was like , “cute pattern!” anyway, i have never heard of disposable swimsuits. too funny. i love it.

Don’t worry, your title doesn’t say anything obscene 🙂 I speak a little German, and it says what you intended it to say!
aw this looks like so much fun! That store does look creepy. When I was in Santa Barbara there was this store that sold tons of cats like that but they all “breathed” (you could see their backs go up and down) soooo weird! I love your matching bathing suits! so so cute!
wow, your phone took those pics? good quality for a phone! and i have never in my life heard of a disposable swimsuit. ha! weird! it actually looks cute! i’m glad you had a great time even though the shops weren’t the best. those cats are creepy.

it looks like it was tons of fun!! 🙂
What a great vacation. I’ll have to check out that town the next time I go to Washington. That guy totally looked like the guy off of the Ricola commercials, you know, the cough drops? Haha, anyway I have to agree with you, if they hadn’t been disposable, the houndstooth would have been cute.
I am glad that you enjoyed your gift, maybe you a little more than Craig . He was a good sport though. I love it when your heart is happy, because it makes mine even happier. Great iPhone pics!
What a fun trip! I live in Seattle, but still haven’t managed to make it to Leavenworth. You’ve got me inspired, and I love your blog!
That is the cutest town I’ve ever seen! It’s like a little fantasy toy world. SO cute! Looks like you had such a blast!

Looks like the four of you did lots of fun things…minus seeing those creepy creepy cats. I love that you were able to go for a sleigh ride, how festive. Thanks for sharing your trip with all your blogger friends:)
This totally seems like a place you two would go. You two are so fun, it actually reminds me of your rehearsal dinner for your wedding 🙂
